Change of leaders
Five more today and eighteen races so far. You would think that this is more than enough, but the climax is just ahead, as we’ve changed leaders at the Rehasport Formula Windsurfing Foil World Championships in Puck, Poland.
Maciek Rutkowski, one of the local favourites with his roots deeply in PWA, has crept in to top place. The lead is all, but comfortable though as Maciej is just two points ahead of Steve Allen from Australia. For sure he needs to keep his cool during the final two days of racing and Steve will be going for gold in each of the final ten scheduled races too.
Third overall is Olympic medalist Przemysław Miarczyński, who is on equal points with the multiple Formula Windsurfing world champion Wojtek Brzozowski.
All big names and a star packed photo-finish.
